Eliza & Mackenzie

Owners

With over 9 years of professional grooming experience, Eliza combines her passion for animals with a natural artistic eye and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional care. Her dedication to the craft has helped her develop a reputation for creating beautiful, personalized grooms while making each dog feel comfortable and cared for.

Eliza has a special talent for working with nervous, anxious and difficult-to-handle dogs. Her patience, gentle approach and calming energy help create a relaxed and positive grooming experience, even for pets who may be uneasy about being groomed.

Having worked in several grooming salons and veterinary clinics throughout the New River Valley, Eliza has gained extensive experience with a wide variety of breeds, temperaments and grooming needs. She takes great pride in offering a higher level of personalized care and attention to every client who walks through her doors.

After years of gaining experience and building relationships within the community, Eliza and her daughter Mackenzie decided to take the next step and open their own grooming shop together. Their goal is to combine their passion and expertise with a warm, welcoming atmosphere where both pets and their owners feel like family.

For Eliza and Mackenzie, grooming is more than just a service, it's an opportunity to make every pet look and feel their very best while providing the patience, care and personal attention they deserve.

Victoria Love

Groomer

My love for dogs started long before I ever imagined becoming a professional groomer. Growing up, I would spend my free time writing down dog breeds in alphabetical order and teaching my dog, Koda, every fun trick I could find on YouTube. Needless to say, dogs have always been a big part of my life!

After graduating from Virginia Tech, I found myself wanting to turn my love for animals into a career. I reached out to my own groomer at the time, Eliza, and asked how she got started in the pet industry. A few months later, I was given the opportunity to join the salon where she was working, as a bather. That opportunity quickly turned into a passion, and over the following year, I trained to become a professional dog groomer.

One of my favorite things about grooming is that no two days are ever the same. It keeps me on my toes, challenges me to continue learning, and ensures there is never a dull moment. But what I love most is the opportunity to build genuine relationships with my clients and their dogs. Getting to know each dog's personality, earning their trust, and watching those relationships grow gives me a true sense of community, and that is something I hold very close to my heart.

I feel incredibly grateful to have turned something I've loved since childhood into a career where I can care for dogs, make them feel their best, and become a part of their lives along the way.
